Views from Cregennan Lakes
A short but sharp climb up from the main road brings you up to the Cregennan Lakes with spectacular views across to the Mawddach Estuary and Barmouth beyond. This climb is the first proper test on all the routes (other than the Fun Route) and there is a feed station at the top.

Ascent of the Bwlch y Groes
This mighty climb featured in the Milk Race in the 80's and occurs on the Long Route and The Big Dog! A proper beast of a climb, it brings you up onto the highest piece of tarmac in Wales at 546m. A breathless running commentary accompanies the video....
